The ISR-PM is a dynamic and comprehensive system that addresses physical management through all levels of resistance and functions to provide both non-sworn professionals who require controlling and transporting subjects as well as civilians who need personal protection and a means towards self-preservation and defense.

What primarily separates the ISR-PM from its Law Enforcement manifestation (ISR-LE) is its unique force continuum as LEO are typically held to a higher standard and degree of action both ethically and legally. What is required by law and what is defined as one’s responsibility as a sworn officer is strictly governed uniformly by every facet and type of government and in every detail and countless layer upon layer of administrative bureaucracy and legal statute.

In the ever growing universe of non-sworn security personnel which extends to executive protection, airport and public transportation facilities, hospital orderlies, bouncers, and other professions that can and often require going hands on, the rules of engagement and service are as wide as they are varied. Needless to say, when we approach the realm of reality based self-defense and one’s personal options to what is deemed or made necessary for one’s personal safety and well-being, each and every case is even more so unique and carries its own possibilities and ramifications.

So it’s not the trained course of action alone that changes from the ISR-LE to the ISR-PM but more importantly the strategic point of view that also adjusts to and adapts to the specific field of operations, working platform and planned investment in preparation.
